Eligibility Criteria For Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department Punjab

Education

• LLB, LLM, Bar At Law, Ph.D (50% marks on the aggregate) or equivalent qualification from a reputed University/Institution, recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

Experience

• Candidates having LL.B and Bar-at-Law, twenty-two years of experience
• LL.M seventeen years of experience
• Ph.D fifteen years experience

Legal experience of following kinds:

• Legislative drafting;
• Decision making involving interpretation of laws either as a Judicial Officer or Advocate or Civil Servant; and
• Teaching and/ or research in law or law related subjects.

Required Skills And Abilities

• A high degree of understanding of constitutional and legal framework
• A high degree of understanding of Civil and Criminal Justice systems
• A high degree of understanding of regulatory laws or regulations and its impact
• Excellent understanding and expression of the English language
